How to use Threadline
From signup to LinkedIn workflow
Threadline is built around one simple loop: set up your workspace, connect the Chrome extension, work inside LinkedIn, and manage the prospects, searches, and outreach that flow back into your dashboard.
Start from the login card, switch to sign up, add your first name, last name, email, and password, then confirm your email before logging in.
After that, Threadline walks you through the onboarding flow already built into this app: choose your plan, complete your vendor profile, and land on the welcome screen before opening the dashboard.

Install and pair the extension
From the dashboard, use the Connect Extension card to generate a 6-digit pairing code. The code is short-lived, so copy it and paste it into the Chrome extension prompt right away.
Once the extension claims the code, your connection badge switches from Not connected to Connected. That pairing links the extension to your signed-in workspace.

Work inside LinkedIn
Open LinkedIn, visit a prospect profile, and launch Threadline from the browser extension. Your vendor profile, offer, positioning, personas, and email settings are what give the extension the business context it uses.
As you use Threadline on LinkedIn, the webapp is designed to receive prospect records like name, role, company, LinkedIn URL, status, location, and timestamps. Depending on the workflow, follow-up activity can also feed email drafts and task data into your workspace.

See the results in your webapp
Your dashboard then surfaces what the extension is feeding back: Searches Over Time, company-based Insights, KPI totals for prospects and emails, and your Recent Searches.
The rest of the app lets you work that data:
Prospects shows the captured people and lets you open the LinkedIn profile or update pipeline status.
Emails lists saved drafts tied to prospects.
Vendor Profile controls the business context that powers the experience.
Connection lets you clear pairing tokens if you ever need to reconnect.

The best results come from keeping your vendor profile sharp: your pitch, product, value props, industries, personas, tone, CTA, and signature all shape what Threadline produces for you.
Use the personal notepad for your own working notes, review billing and credits as needed, and come back to the connection card any time you want to re-pair a browser session.
